Head of Business Center – Revenue Cycle Management

About the role

The Head of Business Center (Revenue Cycle Management) leads the hospital’s revenue cycle function, ensuring efficient front‑ and back‑office operations, accurate medical billing, and strong payer relationships. Reporting to the Director of Business Center, this senior position drives revenue capture, reduces claim denials, and supports the organization’s financial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front‑end revenue authorization and upfront collections.
• Manage back‑end processes including inpatient and outpatient medical billing, claim submission, and accounts receivable.
• Maintain and regularly update the charge master, ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Coordinate with Business Development to implement new payer contracts and negotiate yearly settlements with insurers and government payers.
• Monitor and resolve difficult discharges, self‑pay collections, and rejected claims through stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare monthly reports on billing performance, quality indicators, and financial statements for internal review.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management within a hospital or large healthcare organization.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive process improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with insurers, government agencies, and internal departments.
