Head of Finance

About the role

This is a high‑impact leadership position for a finance professional who will build and scale the financial backbone of a fast‑growing, consumer‑focused digital business in Saudi Arabia. As the first in‑house finance leader, you will design finance systems from the ground up and become a strategic partner to the executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling, forecasting, scenario planning, headcount and cash‑flow management.
• Own budgeting processes and provide clear visibility into financial trade‑offs, risks and performance drivers.
• Maintain investor‑ready models, reporting structures and board materials for fundraising and strategic discussions.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost controls, and reconciliation of revenue, expenses, cash flow and COGS.
• Strengthen profitability, margin and unit‑economics visibility while ensuring timely reporting.
• Establish robust financial controls, audit‑ready processes and reliable month‑end close procedures.
• Partner with department leaders to align budgets, monitor spend and improve decision‑making.
• Develop contingency and scenario planning frameworks (Plan B/Plan C) for business resilience.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting or operational finance, preferably in high‑growth or startup environments.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning.
• Proven experience managing inventory‑heavy or product‑based financial operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and ERP/accounting systems.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
