Head of Occupational Therapy Department

About the role

ABC Center is looking for an experienced professional to lead its Occupational Therapy Department in Riyadh. The role covers overseeing department operations, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services and driving the department's strategic vision and growth. It is an on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the department, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and protocols for best practice in occupational therapy services.
• Oversee hiring, training and performance evaluation of staff, supporting their professional development.
• Manage the departmental budget and resources efficiently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes using data to drive quality improvement.
• Keep up with advances in practice, guidelines and regulations and implement relevant changes.
• Engage in community outreach and education to promote the services.
• Hold regular departmental meetings to address operational issues and update the team.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• At least 7 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Valid and active occupational therapy license.
• In-depth knowledge of current practices, trends and regulations in the field.
• Proven leadership and management skills with a track record of team development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement.
• English and Arabic language proficiency preferred.
