Head of Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead overall operational activities and drive the safe, efficient, timely, and profitable delivery of multiple projects. The role involves overseeing project execution from mobilization to handover across various construction sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project execution from mobilization through completion and handover.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring delivery within approved scope, budget, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity, profitability, and resource optimization.
• Lead project planning, project controls, performance monitoring, and operational reporting.
• Optimize manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor resources.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, contractual, and applicable Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Identify operational and project risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Lead and develop high‑performing project and operations teams.
• Provide operational input into business development, tendering, and project execution strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in construction and contracting.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior operations or project leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multiple large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong background in project execution, project controls, cost management, construction management, and subcontractor management.
• Experience in the Saudi construction market is highly preferred.
• Experience in infrastructure, civil, building, industrial, or EPC projects is advantageous.
• PMP, PMI, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is highly preferred.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on operational and field experience.
