Health Economics and Outcomes Research Manager

About the role

The Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) Manager will lead the development and execution of evidence‑generation strategies that support the launch and sustained market access of our pharmaceutical assets across Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Market Access, Policy, and Communications Director, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure that clinical and economic value is demonstrated to healthcare authorities, payers, and providers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the value proposition of company products and review global and local clinical/economic evidence.
• Identify evidence requirements of Saudi health authorities, payers, and providers as a baseline for real‑world evidence (RWE) generation.
• Map the Saudi healthcare data landscape and monitor emerging RWE trends.
• Design integrated RWE plans to secure optimal access pathways and protect product value.
• Adapt cost‑effectiveness, budget impact, and clinical models to Saudi regulatory and business contexts.
• Conduct RWE studies on disease burden, patient characteristics, treatment patterns, and quality‑of‑life outcomes.
• Establish strategic partnerships with leading HEOR experts.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory, and Policy teams to align messaging.
• Present HEOR data at congresses and publish findings in scientific journals.
• Oversee end‑to‑end study execution, including vendor onboarding, contracting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Identify gaps in evidence plans and communicate them to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Pharmacist or physician with a master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, health economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in health economics, outcomes research, market access or a related pharmaceutical role.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory environment and healthcare system.
• Excellent leadership, project management, analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
