Health Educator

About the role

The Health Educator will support the supervision of a team and manage patient access programs across the region. Working both in the field and in the office, the role involves liaising with hospitals, distributors, pharmacies and patients to expand access strategies and maximize medical benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the team and managing access programs by coordinating with hospitals, distributors, pharmacies and patients.
• Collaborate with Axios staff to evaluate patient eligibility, verify classifications and ensure prompt enrollment according to project timelines.
• Conduct home and field visits for patient classification and assessments as needed.
• Prepare monthly monitoring and quality‑assurance reports, track patient files in real time and maintain electronic program records.
• Support daily use of the Axios Patient Management System (PMS) and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Attend and complete pharmacovigilance, medical and product training, and ensure the team does the same.
• Report adverse events or product complaints in line with client requirements and Axios procedures.
• Perform administrative duties, uphold international standards, comply with laws and Axios code of conduct, and support governance of operations.

Required profile

• Experience supervising teams and managing health‑access programs.
• Ability to conduct home visits and field assessments.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills for timely monitoring.
• Familiarity with patient management systems and adherence to SOPs.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance, safety reporting and relevant training.
• Understanding of international standards, compliance requirements and governance processes.
