Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer to create accurate 2D and 3D layouts for HVAC products. The role involves collaborating with product engineers and supporting manufacturing through detailed technical drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise 2D & 3D layouts and engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop and update drawings based on specifications, production needs, testing, and field feedback.
• Coordinate with Product Engineers to ensure design accuracy, functionality, and correct Bill of Materials.
• Generate CNC‑ready files, including DXF, panels, components, and assemblies.
• Support design standardisation, cost reduction, material optimisation, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Perform basic engineering calculations applying relevant standards, tolerances, and material properties.
• Maintain drawing revisions, part numbering, documentation, and project traceability.
• Provide technical drawing support to Engineering, Production, Quality, and Purchasing teams.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Drafting.
• 3–5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in HVAC/Air‑Conditioning unit design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 3D design software is a plus.
• Good understanding of engineering standards, dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
• Effective English communication skills and a detail‑oriented, analytical mindset.
