Host/Hostess – Luxury Resort (Saudi National)

About the role

As a Host/Hostess at SLS The Red Sea, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant, creating a warm and stylish first impression that reflects the resort’s bold and vibrant personality. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth front‑of‑house operations and a seamless dining experience for both reservation and walk‑in guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with confidence and professionalism, managing seating, table allocations and dining flow.
• Handle reservations using the restaurant’s reservation system, confirming details and communicating updates to the team.
• Coordinate with service, kitchen and bar staff to accommodate guest requests and maintain efficient service flow.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and address feedback or concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain an organized host stand and reception area, and assist with side duties such as menu preparation and table resets.
• Uphold SLS grooming standards and adhere to health, safety and hygiene policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a guest‑facing role within a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant or lifestyle hospitality environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related education is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is highly desirable.
• Professional, well‑groomed appearance and the ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
