Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Technician will perform general maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs across hotel facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations, supporting the Engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Assist with installation of new equipment when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report completed work.
• Follow hotel safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with engineering team members and other departments.
• Support emergency repairs as needed.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance or related field.
• Previous experience in general maintenance or hotel engineering is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Good basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically fit for hands‑on maintenance tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety standards.
