Hotel Manager – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the overall operation of our hotel in Jeddah. The role focuses on maximizing performance, profitability, and return on investment while fostering a positive work environment and delivering exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor financial and operational plans aligned with hotel objectives.
• Create annual budgets and business plans, recommending capital improvements to enhance assets and brand loyalty.
• Oversee delivery of superior guest services, ensuring prompt response to complaints and requests.
• Maintain product quality and service standards throughout the property.
• Establish preventative maintenance programs to protect physical assets.
• Develop strategic marketing opportunities and tactical sales plans to maximize revenue.
• Execute marketing plans and yield‑management initiatives to boost RevPAR and occupancy.
• Optimize banquet/outlet space usage and manage additional revenue streams such as IT and rentals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Corporate Office to ensure optimum productivity across all areas.
• Liaise with government authorities to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Drive colleague development initiatives to enhance operating and service performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key community contacts and handle media inquiries.
• Oversee security functions to maintain a safe environment for guests, staff, and assets.
• Establish a proactive Human Resources function covering motivation, training, compensation, benefits, and regulatory compliance.
• Foster a positive work environment through mentorship, performance feedback, and regular communication.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
