HR Business Partner

About the role
The HR Business Partner will lead the end‑to‑end HR function for ENGIE’s AMEA Business Unit, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and Saudi labour regulations. Reporting to the Head of Business Services, the role supports recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management and employee relations across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle – sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection – in line with approved manpower plans.
- Build and maintain a talent pool of qualified Saudi and expatriate candidates for critical functions.
- Oversee onboarding, visa and work‑permit processes in coordination with the Government Relations Office.
- Implement HR policies consistent with Saudi Labour Law and ENGIE internal standards, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution and ethics concerns.
- Prepare and validate monthly payroll, including salary changes, allowances, deductions and overtime.
- Support annual salary increment and bonus cycles with data preparation and benchmarking.
- Administer the performance management cycle, ensuring timely goal setting, reviews and appraisals.
- Assist succession planning by tracking talent pipelines and competency data.
- Identify training needs with managers, coordinate external providers and monitor training effectiveness.
Required profile
- Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Labour Law and HR best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with payroll processing and compensation & benefits administration.
- Ability to manage employee relations, grievances and conflict resolution.
- Experience in performance management and succession planning.
