HR Business Partner – Workforce Planning & Talent Strategy

About the role

The HR Business Partner will join Hitachi Energy Business in Saudi Arabia, acting as a strategic bridge between people and business. You will drive workforce planning, performance management and succession initiatives while ensuring alignment with local regulations and diversity goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current headcount against business objectives and forecast future staffing needs.
• Lead organization restructuring projects to support strategic goals.
• Maintain accurate data in planning tools and generate regular headcount reports.
• Design and execute Saudization strategies to meet Saudi regulatory targets.
• Develop recruitment and retention programs that increase female representation across all levels.
• Provide recruitment expertise and compensation guidance to hiring managers.
• Oversee the global performance‑management cycle, including goal setting, mid‑year reviews and annual appraisals.
• Coach managers on effective performance‑management practices.
• Conduct talent‑review sessions, identify high‑potential employees and create development plans.
• Implement succession‑planning processes for key roles.
• Partner with Learning & Development to deliver targeted training.
• Drive employee‑engagement survey participation and translate results into actionable improvement plans.
• Adapt global diversity and inclusion initiatives to the local cultural context.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR professional.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi labour regulations, including Saudization requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead workforce‑planning and restructuring efforts.
• Track record of advancing gender diversity and inclusion.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and influencing skills.
