HRIS Specialist – HR Systems & Data Management

About the role

The HRIS Specialist will oversee the company’s Human Resources Information System, ensuring data integrity, system performance and alignment with business needs. Working closely with the IT department, you will manage updates, troubleshoot issues and support HR operations such as attendance, leave and payroll.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate HRIS activities within established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT to implement system updates, upgrades and resolve technical incidents.
• Monitor system performance and follow up on incidents to guarantee timely resolution.
• Manage user access, permissions and data governance compliance.
• Validate and maintain accuracy of HR data through continuous monitoring and periodic reviews.
• Handle data import and export between HRIS and other enterprise systems.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc HR reports and develop dashboards for key metrics.
• Support attendance, leave management and payroll processes via the HRIS.
• Participate in user‑acceptance testing and document procedures, updates and changes.
• Train HR users on system functionalities and identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, MIS, Information Systems, IT, Business Administration or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience working with HRIS platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to data quality and governance.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
