HSE Officer - Saudi Arabia

About the role

Eram Talent, a talent acquisition consultancy in the oil and energy sector, is looking for an HSE Officer to work on site in Saudi Arabia. The officer oversees health, safety and environmental processes so that operations comply with local regulations and company policies, and works closely with various teams to keep the workplace safe.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE management systems and protocols in line with local and international standards.
• Carry out regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Run training and awareness sessions to strengthen the safety culture.
• Help investigate incidents and accidents, write detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.
• Keep HSE documentation and records accurate and up to date.
• Promote a proactive safety environment by encouraging reporting of safety concerns.
• Work with project teams to put health and safety measures into practice.
• Support the development and execution of emergency response plans and procedures.
• Carry out other duties as needed to improve HSE performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in HSE roles.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and standards.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable.
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
