About the role
The Human Capital Officer supports the HR team by handling day‑to‑day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth onboarding and off‑boarding, and maintaining accurate employee records. This position works closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable HR services.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare onboarding kits, joining forms, ID card requests and welcome letters for new hires.
- Collect, scan and file employee documents (passports, visas, contracts, policies) in both physical and digital formats.
- Enter and update employee data in the HRMS or spreadsheets for hires, exits and changes.
- Maintain logs for medical insurance, visa status, contract renewals and leave records.
- Coordinate medical appointments, visa renewals and document pickups with Admin and PRO teams.
- Draft basic HR letters (address proof, salary certificate) using standard templates.
- Assist with off‑boarding tasks, including ID collection and clearance tracking.
- Provide logistical support for HR events, townhalls and employee engagement activities.
- Ensure employee files comply with audit and policy guidelines and flag missing documents.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Admin and IT to resolve employee queries.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of progressive experience in HR, HRMS or administration, preferably in a retail environment.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and support internal communications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

- Microsoft Excel
