Human Resources Manager – Facility Management

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the development and implementation of the organisation's people strategy, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. This senior role focuses on enhancing employee experience, organisational effectiveness, and culture within a facility management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business goals.
• Design and optimise organisational structures and workforce planning.
• Establish, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Lead performance management, job evaluation, grading, and reward programmes.
• Drive organisational development and change‑management initiatives.
• Build and enhance employee engagement, culture, and workplace environment.
• Develop talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programmes.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee relations.
• Manage HR budgets, manpower planning, and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulatory requirements.
• Utilise HR analytics and metrics to support strategic decision‑making.
• Partner with business leaders to improve organisational effectiveness and productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• CIPD Level 5 (additional HR certifications a plus).
• 10–15 years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience in facility management, property management, real estate, construction or related industries.
• Proven expertise in organisational design, HR policy development, job evaluation, performance management, budgeting, workforce planning and transformation.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and change‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
