HV Battery Integration Engineer II

About the role

Lucid Motors is seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer II focused on high‑voltage (HV) systems to join its product engineering organization in Saudi Arabia. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and improve HV battery integration on production vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle and system‑level troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as Canalyzer and Canape.
• Analyze complex component and system issues with data‑driven methods and statistical tools (Minitab, JMP, Python, MATLAB).
• Provide design‑for‑manufacturability and serviceability feedback for future HV system development.
• Support assembly line processes, ensuring design intent is maintained and advising on build‑process improvements.

Required profile

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or MS with relevant experience).
• 4+ years of experience with electric‑vehicle or high‑voltage systems, or 2+ years in automotive design/release with an MS.
• Proven ability to use vehicle communication and diagnostic tools for multi‑variable issue resolution.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, familiar with Atlassian products.

Required skills

• Catia or 3DX CAD proficiency.
• DFM, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, RCA methodologies.
• Statistical analysis with Minitab or JMP.
• Programming/scripting in Python or MATLAB.
• Use of Canalyzer, Canape, and other diagnostic equipment.
