HVAC-R Technician

About the role

Agility Logistics Parks is hiring an HVAC-R Technician in As Sulay. The technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial HVAC-R equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC-R systems and components to evaluate their condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance.
• Fabricate equipment parts to meet specialty needs and replace unavailable parts.
• Install HVAC-R equipment and systems, and repair systems and components.
• Coordinate with the HVAC-R Foreman/Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
• Prepare written reports such as work order status and activity logs.
• Request equipment and supplies to keep inventory levels correct and items available.
• Respond to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.
• Attend meetings, workshops and trainings, and follow standards, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration, plant control, troubleshooting and corrective and preventive maintenance of freezers and chillers.

Required skills

• Operating power tools, gauges and diagnostic or specialised equipment.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches, manuals and work orders.
• Understanding and following oral and written instructions.
• Working cooperatively with co-workers, architects and engineers.
• Maintaining simple records and preparing accurate reports.
