HVAC Technician for Facilities Management

About the role

The HVAC Technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems across client facilities, ensuring comfortable, energy‑efficient indoor environments and compliance with Musanadah’s integrated FM services.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, split units, and VRF/VRV systems.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults, including compressor, motor, control, and refrigerant leak issues.
• Recover and charge refrigerant, clean coils and filters, and verify pressures, temperatures, and airflow.
• Maintain related components like pumps, cooling towers, exhaust fans, dampers, and BMS‑linked controls and sensors.
• Respond to work orders within SLAs, log activities in the CAFM system, and follow permit‑to‑work and HSE procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on HVAC maintenance experience, preferably in facilities management, commercial or industrial settings.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) accreditation as an HVAC technician.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, safety awareness, and ability to work independently on shift or call‑out rotas.

Required skills

• Preventive maintenance of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, split units, VRF/VRV systems.
• Refrigerant recovery, charging, coil and filter cleaning.
• Diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
• Maintenance of pumps, cooling towers, exhaust fans, dampers, and BMS controls.
• Use of CAFM systems for work order management.
