HVAC Technician – Hotel Engineering Team

About the role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join the Engineering team at the First Vignette Collection hotel in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting air‑conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including split AC units, package units, AHUs, FCUs and exhaust fans.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigerant faults; conduct refrigerant charging, recovery and leak detection.
• Inspect, clean and service filters, coils, drain pans and condensate drainage systems.
• Respond to guest room and hotel maintenance requests, including emergency breakdowns.
• Record all maintenance activities, faults and repairs; report major issues to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Maintain stock levels of spare parts, tools and materials and keep the workshop organized.
• Support energy‑saving initiatives and coordinate with other departments to minimise disruption.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a hotel or commercial facilities environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation and refrigeration components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, thermostats and sensors.
• Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals and basic electrical schematics.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills.
