ID / Access Control Specialist II

About the role

The ID / Access Control Specialist II supports the Technical Services Team by managing the issuance and administration of NGHC identity cards, visitor passes, employment passes and vehicle passes. The role ensures compliance with NGHC security procedures and provides high‑quality customer service to staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Issue all types of NGHC identity cards, temporary visitor, employment and vehicle passes.
• Request and verify criminal records checks when required.
• Enter accurate data into the NGHC ID / Access Control System and maintain audit trails.
• Cancel expired IDs and update records throughout each credential’s validity period.
• Monitor expiration dates, revoke access when necessary, and resolve badging issues.
• Adhere to NGHC Security Code of Conduct, post orders, SOPs and shift schedules.
• Collaborate with the Technical Services Lead to fulfil security obligations under the Site Access Control Procedure.
