Information Technology Specialist

About the role

Support the effective delivery, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of information technology services and solutions at Amaala Yacht Club. Provide technical support, assist daily IT operations and contribute to technology projects to ensure reliable and secure IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for users, devices, systems and IT services.
• Assist in maintaining availability, reliability and performance of IT systems.
• Support installation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of technology solutions and equipment.
• Help implement IT projects, system upgrades and operational initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventories and support logs.
• Support information security, data protection and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical assistance for meetings, events and operational activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet business and operational needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in IT or technical support.
• Basic understanding of IT operations, systems and applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, software and end-user support.
• Networking fundamentals, including wired and wireless connectivity.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, information security and data protection.
• Experience with IT asset management, documentation and inventory control.
• Exposure to hospitality and retail systems such as POS and property management platforms.
• Knowledge of AV, meeting-room and guest-technology support.
