Information Technology Specialist

About the role

Flooss provides consumer micro‑finance solutions in Saudi Arabia and is building a technology‑enabled, customer‑focused organization. The Information Technology Specialist will support day‑to‑day operations of the company’s technology environment, maintain reliable infrastructure and end‑user services, and contribute to projects that enable lending operations and digital customer journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support for hardware, software, network and access issues, logging and resolving incidents within SLA using the ITSM tool.
• Administer servers, networks, cloud services and end‑user devices; manage user accounts, access rights, email and collaboration platforms.
• Perform system monitoring, backups, patching, and support disaster‑recovery testing; maintain IT asset inventory and software license records.
• Support core business applications such as loan management, onboarding and collections platforms, including integrations and data troubleshooting.
• Participate in technology projects – requirements gathering, testing, QA and UAT – and prepare reports and data extracts for business needs.
• Apply cybersecurity controls in coordination with the Cybersecurity team and support internal audits and regulatory examinations.
• Coordinate with vendors on support tickets, maintenance and service delivery, monitoring performance against agreed service levels.
• Assist with user onboarding/offboarding and deliver basic IT training and guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration or infrastructure, preferably in financial services or a regulated environment.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA or relevant cloud certifications are a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; Saudi national.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and customer‑service mindset with attention to detail.
