Infrastructure & Systems Security Team Lead

About the role

The Infrastructure & Systems Security Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the secure, reliable and available operation of IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role combines leadership, operational oversight and security expertise to protect critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support IT infrastructure on‑premises, Microsoft Azure, DEEM Cloud and hybrid environments.
• Monitor availability, performance and capacity of infrastructure services and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain data‑center hardware, servers, backup solutions and related technology services.
• Oversee enterprise network components such as routers, switches, VLANs, MPLS, WAN and Wi‑Fi, ensuring secure connectivity.
• Support unified communications, including Cisco Call Manager, voice gateways and SIP.
• Implement and maintain security controls across networks, servers, endpoints, databases and cloud services.
• Manage firewalls, VPN, web proxy, endpoint protection and secure remote access solutions.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents and support containment and recovery.
• Control user, system and application access, enforce multi‑factor authentication and least‑privilege principles.
• Analyze vulnerability assessments, coordinate remediation and verify security patching.
• Support backup, restore, high‑availability and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, technical projects and coordination with vendors.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and support operation, security, reliability and availability of IT infrastructure.
• Experience managing enterprise network and cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and incident response.
