About the role
Instrument Commissioning Engineer responsible for performing field checks, mechanical completion walkdowns, troubleshooting, and pre‑start‑up activities on instrumentation systems for hydrogen or ammonia projects.
Key responsibilities
- Perform detailed instrumentation field checks against P&IDs, hook‑up drawings and project specifications.
- Participate in Mechanical Completion (MC) walkdowns, identify punch items and support handover to commissioning.
- Troubleshoot field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, analyzers) during installation, pre‑commissioning and start‑up.
- Conduct pre‑start‑up activities including loop checks, calibration verification, functional testing and readiness confirmation.
- Supervise contractors and technicians, coordinate daily activities and ensure HSE compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or related engineering field.
- Experience on hydrogen or ammonia projects.
- Site‑based experience during MC, commissioning and start‑up phases.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
