Insulation Technician – Industrial Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Insulation Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia, working on industrial projects across oil & gas, petrochemical and refinery sites. The role involves installing, maintaining, repairing and removing thermal, acoustic and fire‑resistant insulation systems on a variety of equipment and structures.

Key responsibilities

• Install and remove insulation materials on pipes, valves, tanks, vessels, ducts and equipment according to drawings and specifications.
• Apply thermal, acoustic and fire‑resistant insulation systems, cladding, jacketing and vapor barriers.
• Measure, cut, shape and fit insulation materials accurately using hand and power tools.
• Inspect existing insulation, identify damage and carry out repairs or replacements.
• Ensure proper sealing, weather‑proofing and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors, welders, pipefitters and other site personnel while maintaining a clean work area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical certificate; insulation‑related training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an insulation technician in industrial, oil & gas or construction projects.
• Familiarity with insulation materials such as mineral wool, rock wool, fiberglass, calcium silicate, PIR/PUR.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and follow safety procedures.
