Internal Auditor

About the role

Arab Invest is seeking an Internal Auditor to execute its annual audit plan, perform data‑driven analyses, and prepare audit reports that ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. The role reports directly to the Head of Internal Audit and contributes to the integrity of financial and operational information.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic and ad‑hoc audits in line with the annual audit plan.
• Lead end‑to‑end internal audit assignments, from planning through execution, reporting, and follow‑up.
• Develop risk and control matrices, process maps, and test programs aligned with COSO and IPPF standards.
• Perform special reviews, investigations, and due‑diligence support as required.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
• Review financial transactions for reliability, integrity, and accuracy.
• Execute data‑driven testing using analytical procedures, sampling, and basic data analytics.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, implications, and recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and conduct follow‑ups.
• Facilitate external audits and manage stakeholder relationships during the audit process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Certified CPA, CA or CIA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing within the investment industry.
• Working knowledge of IIA IPPF/Standards, COSO, basic COBIT, and Saudi regulatory context (Investment Funds, Listed Companies, SAMA rules).
