Internal Control Manager – Finance Governance

About the role

The Internal Control Manager will own the design, implementation and ongoing assurance of internal controls across ACCBC’s finance and operational processes. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role ensures robust governance, risk mitigation and compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and best‑practice frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain ACCBC’s internal control framework, aligning with COSO and other recognised standards.
• Define control standards, documentation requirements and governance protocols for all functions and entities.
• Lead periodic risk assessments and end‑to‑end process reviews to identify control gaps and weaknesses.
• Partner with process owners, Internal Audit, External Audit and Finance leadership to strengthen control maturity and support assurance activities.
• Ensure consistent application of controls across multi‑entity, ERP‑driven finance and operational processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal control, risk assessment or audit within a finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of COSO, IFRS, US GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to work across multi‑entity organisations and ERP‑driven processes.
