Internal Control Manager

About the role

The Internal Control Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining a robust internal control framework across ACCBC’s finance and operational processes. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, COSO standards and internal policies while providing independent insight to finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the internal control framework aligned with COSO.
• Lead periodic risk assessments and end‑to‑end process reviews to identify control gaps.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of key controls and track remediation actions.
• Maintain internal control risk registers, monitoring plans and support Risk Committee reporting.
• Manage insurance governance, streamline group insurance documentation and improve invoicing processes.
• Oversee process documentation, SOPs and reporting to ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate closely with process owners, Internal Audit, External Audit and Finance leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in internal control design, risk assessment and governance in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex risks into actionable controls.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams and senior management.
