Internal Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is looking for an organised Internal Logistics Coordinator to join the Production Control Department. The role ensures smooth movement and staging of raw materials, components and finished goods across the plant, supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal flow of products and by‑products between melting, casting, forging, machining, heat‑treatment, NDE, painting and packing areas.
• Receive, prioritise and allocate requests for heavy machinery and internal transport equipment.
• Schedule and monitor internal transport (forklifts, trucks, trailers) to meet production urgency.
• Track and record all product transfers using Excel or relevant ERP systems.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation and system records.
• Monitor team performance, attendance and timekeeping.
• Plan routine and special maintenance for heavy equipment and liaise with external service providers when needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and delays.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or logistics education preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics, supply‑chain or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational ability, attention to detail and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work in a steel plant with exposure to heavy machinery, high temperatures and industrial noise, including overtime, nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP platforms.
• Basic computer skills.
