International CDI/Coding Consultant

About the role

Solventum is seeking an International CDI/Coding Consulting Specialist to join its global consulting team. Based in Saudi Arabia, you will travel extensively to client hospitals worldwide, helping them improve clinical documentation and coding accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct retrospective chart reviews (inpatient and outpatient) to assess completeness, accuracy, and specificity of clinical documentation.
• Apply ICD‑10, procedure code sets and DRG classification systems to identify documentation and coding gaps.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to client CDI teams to strengthen long‑term documentation practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, coders and CDI staff to clarify documentation and improve coding compliance.
• Ensure all reviews meet regulatory and coding standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) or medical coding.
• Strong understanding of ICD‑10, procedure coding and DRG systems.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
• Willingness to travel 50‑75% of the time to international client sites.
• Effective communication skills for training and consulting.
