International Procurement Engineer

About the role

Zhongtian Marine Cable is hiring a full-time International Procurement Engineer in Jeddah. The role covers end-to-end import procurement, customs and trade compliance, supplier management for the Saudi manufacturing plant, and close cooperation with R&D, production, quality control, finance and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the company's imported product procurement business and manage the full international procurement lifecycle: sourcing, price comparison, negotiation, contract execution, order follow-up, inspection, logistics and payment settlement.
• Draft and review international procurement contracts, with an understanding of basic legal clauses.
• Handle the company's customs affairs and demonstrate mastery of Incoterms 2020.
• Be familiar with international shipping, cargo insurance and customs clearance; experience in freight forwarding and customs declaration is preferred.
• Carry out localized procurement and supplier development for the Saudi factory, evaluate suppliers, and track raw material prices and market trends.
• Work closely with R&D, production, quality control, finance and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• CET-6 certified, with fluent spoken English and proficient business English writing.
• Arabic is a distinct advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in international procurement or related fields.
• Clear logical thinking, good writing, communication and presentation skills, and strong organization, planning and coordination abilities.
