Inventory Analyst

About the role

The Inventory Analyst will analyze inventory data to ensure stock accuracy, optimise inventory levels and support warehouse and supply‑chain operations through reporting, root‑cause investigation and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory performance using ERP/WMS reports (stock availability, movements, shortages, excess/slow‑moving items).
• Investigate variances between system and physical stock (GR/PO receipts, transfers, adjustments).
• Support cycle counting and physical inventory activities, track findings and close discrepancies.
• Prepare and share inventory reports (aging, stock status, discrepancy reports, KPI dashboards).
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Procurement, Planning and Logistics teams to maintain data accuracy.
• Ensure correct item master/bin/location setup and support updates when needed.
• Assist in forecasting and replenishment planning by providing reliable inventory insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in inventory control, warehouse analytics or ERP/WMS reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/WMS tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems (optional).
