Investigation Supervisor – Regional (Central)

About the role

The Investigation Supervisor will lead a regional investigation team, ensuring that all fraud and compliance cases are handled efficiently and in line with company standards. This role requires close monitoring of case progress, risk assessment, and coordination with senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise investigation activities to meet approved standards and timelines.
• Assign cases to officers based on priority, risk level, and workload.
• Monitor active investigations through regular follow‑ups and case reviews.
• Review evidence, statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Guide officers during evidence collection, interviews, and field visits.
• Coordinate with the Investigation Manager on high‑risk and complex cases.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of investigation data.
• Prepare periodic progress reports and case summaries for management.
• Enforce compliance with investigation policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• University degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in fraud investigations, preferably in the retail sector.
• Experience in forensic investigations within a Big 4 accounting firm is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
