Investment Partnership & Development Director

About the role

The Investment Partnership & Development Director will lead JTC’s business development agenda, driving growth through the origination, structuring and commercialization of strategic investments, partnerships and public‑private partnership (PPP) opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a business development strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify, originate and prioritize strategic investment, partnership and PPP opportunities.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline to support long‑term growth.
• Conduct market, sector and competitive intelligence to shape growth initiatives.
• Establish and manage relationships with government, semi‑government and private stakeholders.
• Lead senior‑level engagement to enable complex partnerships and PPPs.
• Structure, negotiate and close joint ventures, PPPs and major commercial agreements.
• Approve business models, revenue structures, pricing strategies and value‑capture mechanisms.
• Oversee commercial performance, monitor SLAs, KPIs and revenue commitments.
• Provide direction on financial modeling, investment analysis and commercial due diligence.
• Contribute to capital planning, budgeting and long‑term financial forecasts.
• Identify and manage commercial, financial and strategic risks.
• Support investment committees with commercial insights.
• Mentor the business development team and promote best‑practice frameworks.
• Prepare executive‑level reports, dashboards and performance insights.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in business development, investment or PPP environments.
• Strong track record of originating and closing strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across public and private sectors.
• Ability to translate contractual frameworks into operational and financial metrics.
• Experience guiding cross‑functional teams through the deal lifecycle.
• Demonstrated capability to mentor and develop talent.
