IT Cybersecurity Administrator

About the role

The IT Cybersecurity Administrator will support the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of cybersecurity controls across the company's IT environment. This role helps protect systems, networks, endpoints and business information from security threats, ensuring operational continuity for a technology‑enabled logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cybersecurity alerts, logs and security events.
• Administer endpoint security, EDR and antivirus solutions.
• Identify, investigate and respond to security incidents.
• Support vulnerability assessment and remediation activities.
• Assist with Identity and Access Management processes and access control reviews.
• Review user access privileges and support access control reviews.
• Configure firewalls and network security settings.
• Monitor security compliance across IT infrastructure.
• Maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures and technical documentation.
• Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
• Participate in cybersecurity awareness activities.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external technology providers.
• Assist with cybersecurity audits and assessments.
• Monitor emerging threats and recommend appropriate security measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant cybersecurity or IT security experience.
• Solid understanding of network security and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with endpoint security and access management.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory and Windows environments.
• Preferred: experience with SIEM solutions, EDR/XDR platforms, vulnerability management, and enterprise or multi‑site environments.
