IT Governance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Governance Specialist to join our expanding IT team. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining robust governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting risk management initiatives across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain IT governance frameworks and policies.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external standards such as COBIT, ITIL and ISO 27001.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and risk teams to align governance activities.
• Conduct periodic IT audits and governance reviews.
• Prepare and present governance reports to senior management.
• Monitor IT key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in IT governance, IT management or GRC.
• Strong knowledge of COBIT, ITIL and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Understanding of risk and compliance concepts.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001) are a plus.
