IT & HR Shared Services Director

About the role

The IT & HR Shared Services Director will lead the company’s Information Technology function while overseeing Shared Services, including Human Resources and other corporate support functions. This senior role requires a strong IT leader with proven experience in managing technology operations, digital transformation and integrated corporate services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire IT function and team, developing and executing the company’s IT strategy and digital transformation agenda.
• Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, networks, cloud environments and ensure high availability, reliability and performance.
• Manage enterprise systems and ERP implementation, integration and optimisation, driving automation across business functions.
• Provide strategic oversight of Shared Services, establishing policies, KPIs and SLAs for HR, Finance and Administration.
• Guide the HR function, supporting HRIS development, workflow automation and integration with other enterprise platforms.
• Advise executive management on technology risks, governance, budgeting and future technology requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• 10‑15+ years of professional experience in IT, with substantial senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience managing both IT and HR departments or shared services functions.
• Strong business and commercial acumen combined with technical expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and decision‑making skills in Arabic and English.
