IT Specialist

About the role

The IT Specialist will support daily IT operations at the Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard, ensuring that all technology systems run smoothly and securely. This role is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s IT infrastructure in line with IHG standards and providing first‑line technical assistance to all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, network and system issues across all hotel departments.
• Maintain and monitor core hotel systems such as PMS, POS, email, internet, telephony and other business applications.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot computers, printers, network devices and other IT equipment.
• Monitor network performance, Wi‑Fi connectivity and system availability to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance, software updates, backups and antivirus management.
• Create and manage user accounts, passwords and system access according to security policies.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licences, maintenance logs and support requests.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs and system maintenance when required.
• Support IT projects, system upgrades and technology implementations across the hotel.
• Ensure compliance with IHG IT policies, cybersecurity standards and data‑protection requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
