IT Supervisor

About the role

IHG needs an IT Supervisor to install new systems, boost security and set high standards for hardware and software across the hotel. You will be the primary point of contact for all IT hardware, ensuring smooth operation and supporting the team with the tools they need.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for servicing computer hardware, overseeing installations and reporting to senior management.
• Stay current with approved systems and technology, from LAN to POS.
• Maintain hardware and software performance, enforce digital and physical security standards, and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Deliver knowledge‑sharing and training sessions to hotel staff.
• Protect the IT infrastructure against cyber‑threats.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational certificate in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience with computer set‑up and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of networks, operating systems and databases.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
