IT Support Service Desk – Entry Level

About the role

Join DXC Technology as an IT Support Service Desk professional, helping to maintain and improve ITIL‑based service management processes. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with incident, problem, change, request and knowledge management in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the operation and continuous improvement of ITIL‑based processes such as incident, problem, change, request and knowledge management.
• Monitor and track tickets in ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management or similar tools to ensure timely resolution and SLA compliance.
• Assist in coordinating change requests, maintaining change calendars and documenting related activities.
• Analyze incident and service request trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in service review meetings, capture minutes, action items and follow‑ups.
• Gather performance metrics from support teams and help prepare service reports.
• Maintain knowledge‑base articles and standard operating procedures.
• Support user satisfaction initiatives through feedback collection and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, service desk or business operations (internships and academic projects accepted).
• Basic understanding of ITIL concepts and ticketing tools.
• Familiarity with Excel or other reporting tools for data organization and analysis.
• Exposure to customer support or IT operations environments is a plus.
