IT Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Technical Support Specialist to build and manage the complete IT infrastructure for a new copper rod manufacturing plant in Yanbu Industrial City. You will work on both office and factory environments, ensuring reliable connectivity, ERP operation and IT/OT integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi and firewall solutions across office and factory premises.
• Administer Odoo ERP modules (Finance, HR, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Manufacturing).
• Manage Microsoft 365 E5 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Entra ID.
• Support IT/OT convergence for production lines, furnaces and utilities, interfacing SCADA systems with ERP.
• Implement endpoint protection, patch management, backup and disaster‑recovery processes and ensure NCA ECC compliance.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 help‑desk support, maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, budgeting and lead infrastructure projects from data‑center setup to go‑live.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience administering ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalls) and Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with SCADA/PLC/HMI networking and IT/OT segmentation is a strong advantage.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, ITIL or Microsoft 365 are a plus.
