IT/DT Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Air Products is seeking an IT/DT Cybersecurity Engineer to support the implementation, validation, and documentation of cybersecurity controls across gas handling equipment (GHE) site systems, OT/ICS environments, and digital transformation (DT) infrastructure. The role involves hands‑on technical work, coordination with vendors and site teams, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, validation, and documentation of cybersecurity controls for OT/ICS and industrial networks.
• Execute cyber site acceptance testing, capture evidence, log defects, and produce close‑out documentation.
• Collect, validate, and review proof‑of‑compliance documentation, including network diagrams, firewall rules, hardening standards, and asset inventories.
• Assist third‑party vendors and subcontractors with cyber hygiene activities and remediation tracking.
• Perform system hardening, firewall configuration reviews, password‑management standards, secure remote‑access controls, and endpoint security tooling validation.
• Participate in walkthroughs, field verification, and technical reviews of cybersecurity controls.
• Maintain accurate trackers for cyber issues, documentation gaps, and remediation actions.

Required profile

• Experience with OT/ICS cybersecurity and industrial network environments.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity control validation, site acceptance testing, and compliance documentation.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
