About the role
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our fully remote team. You will work on innovative solutions that automate processes, improve user experience, and deliver advanced data analytics for the finance sector.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Analyze client requirements, implement enhancements, and resolve bugs.
- Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, from analysis and design to integration testing and quality assurance.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and design documents on Confluence.
- Collaborate in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with the development team and stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2‑5 years of professional experience in Java web development.
- Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and RESTful APIs.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and deliver high‑quality code on schedule.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
