Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support the finance team by handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records. This position works closely with operations and external auditors to maintain compliance with local tax regulations and e‑invoicing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare journal entries and perform bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices and customer billing.
• Assist with monthly and year‑end closing activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, ZATCA, and e‑invoicing requirements.
• Coordinate with operations to verify transportation‑related expenses.
• Maintain organized accounting records and support internal and external audits.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Good understanding of VAT, ZATCA, and e‑invoicing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
