Junior Engineer - Proposals (EPP, KSA)

About the role

Veolia Water Technologies, Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Junior Engineer for its Proposals team (EPP) in Riyadh. The role reviews inquiry files, guides proposal preparation and critically checks draft proposals on text, costing, commercial details and compliance with client specifications and technical and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review inquiry files to ensure complete information is available, give direction and advice on proposal preparation, set completion targets and follow up progress.
• Analyse draft proposals critically, covering text, costing, commercial details and compliance with client specifications and internal and external technical and quality standards.
• Liaise with Engineering, Sales and other departments, as well as subcontractors, vendors and clients, to gather the input needed for the best possible proposal.
• Stay up to date with technology, processes and the market, share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to departmental objectives.
• Take part in technical meetings with clients, vendors and subcontractors and perform other duties within the area of expertise.

Required profile

• Chemical or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
