Junior Front-End Developer – Remote

About the role

PulseMedia, a digital marketing agency focused on healthcare, medical and wellness brands, is seeking a Junior Front-End Developer to join its fully remote team. This position is ideal for an early‑career developer who enjoys turning UI/UX designs into responsive web experiences and wants to grow technical skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, user‑friendly websites and landing pages for healthcare and wellness clients.
• Convert UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable front‑end code.
• Develop digital assets that support marketing campaigns and client sites.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and project managers to deliver high‑quality digital experiences.
• Optimize sites for speed, responsiveness, cross‑browser compatibility and SEO.
• Maintain and update WordPress and other CMS platforms, implementing content changes and new pages.
• Identify and resolve front‑end bugs, test across browsers and devices, and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of front‑end development experience (internships, freelance, personal projects or bootcamps).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working on live websites or web applications is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Experience building responsive, mobile‑first websites.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue (optional).
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Basic understanding of SEO‑friendly development practices.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Ability to work with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
