Junior Front-End Developer (Remote)

About the role

PULSE (MENA) is seeking a motivated Junior Front‑End Developer to join its remote team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on real‑world web applications, collaborate with senior developers and designers, and grow technical expertise in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, user‑friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Translate UI/UX designs into high‑quality, cross‑browser web pages.
• Assist in building reusable UI components and front‑end features.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and optimize performance for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers and back‑end developers to integrate APIs and deliver complete solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team meetings.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code following coding standards.
• Debug and resolve front‑end issues, and support testing and quality‑assurance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of front‑end or web development experience (internship, freelance, academic projects welcomed).
• Basic understanding of responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with Git version control.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic knowledge of at least one modern framework such as React.js, Vue.js or Angular.
• Experience with responsive frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Use of browser developer tools and debugging techniques.
• Awareness of web accessibility standards and best practices.
