Junior Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our ERP platform team. Working under the guidance of a Senior Software Developer, you will start by fixing defects and building small features, progressing to own a complete module within a year.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve application defects under supervision and submit code for review.
• Develop user‑interface screens, lists, filters and data‑entry forms using Vue.js.
• Write server‑side API endpoints following existing patterns.
• Create and test SQL queries and assist with database migrations.
• Maintain multilingual interface translations (English, Arabic, Hindi) and adjust right‑to‑left layouts.
• Test UI on various screen sizes, especially mobile devices.
• Document work clearly, record issues and contribute to team knowledge base.
• Learn the ERP business domain, including tenants, chart of accounts, journal entries and approval workflows.
• Escalate blockers after reasonable independent attempts.

Required profile

• Strong willingness to learn and fast aptitude for new technologies.
• Ability to work under supervision and gradually take ownership of a module.
• Good communication skills for documenting work and raising issues.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Vue.js for frontend development.
• API development (RESTful endpoints).
• SQL/database query writing and migration support.
• Experience with multilingual UI handling (English, Arabic, Hindi).
• Responsive design testing across desktop and mobile screens.
