Key Account Manager – FMCG

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and commercially‑driven Key Account Manager to lead and expand our high‑value retail partnerships within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring long‑term collaboration and delivering growth aligned with company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for high‑value clients, aligning with overall business goals.
• Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, fostering strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Lead annual negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, and promotional mechanics.
• Manage sales forecasts, budgeting, and reporting to support accurate planning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to deliver customer‑centric solutions.
• Translate marketing plans into commercial proposals and monitor field execution of channel plans.
• Conduct regular market visits to track trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights.
• Oversee trade‑marketing budgets and promotional spend with a focus on ROI.
• Coordinate contract development, rebate processing, and financial claim handling.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex commercial agreements.
